Chocolate and Fig Protein Mousse.
A light but decadent dessert.
This delicious, airy, chocolatey pud is a bit of a recipe twist on the simple chocolate mousse!
Made with just a handful of ingredients, its light, high in protein and super silky! Perfect for a fuss-free dessert OR a dinner party finisher. It’s a fab refreshing yet sophisticated dessert that takes minimal effort and promises to impress.
It also looks gorgeous served in individual glasses and when topped with figs, has that extra special appearance!

Ingredients.
- 20g Free Soul Chocolate Whey Protein powder
- 125g Vanilla Skyr
- 50ml Soy milk
- 11g Hot chocolate powder
- 5g Xantham gym
- Figs for topping
Macros per pud.
291 kcal / 28g P/ 32g C/ 3g F
Method.
- Mix all of the ingredients (except figs) in a bowl and stir until well combined.
- Put the mousse mixture into glasses, then put in the fridge for an hour (or overnight if you have the time).
- Top with fresh figs and a sprinkling of Stevia if needed.
- Enjoy!
TOP TIP: depending on the type of protein powder you’re using, you might need to add more/less milk. 50ml was perfect for the delicious Free Soul Chocolate protein!! The higher the quality, the better!
