Shortlisted: ‘Best New & Noteworthy Blog’ at the Health Blog Awards!
Since launching my little blog in May, it’s been a roller coaster of a ride.
I moved cities, moved house, changed my job and decided that I would document these changes in one place for myself and for others to read. And so, ‘The Bath Blogger’ was born.
Once I finally plucked up the courage to press ‘publish’, I had a very welcome email in my inbox from Fab and the HBC team, announcing that it was time for the That Protein X HBC Health Blog Awards and, they were accepting nominations. So, I thought, why not enter my blog. What did I have to lose?
And guess what? I’VE BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR THE ‘BEST NEW & NOTEWORTHY BLOG’!! I am absolutely over the moon *pinch me*!
I’m sure most of you will know that last year, my beautiful Brunch n Grind babes were also shortlisted and they won the ‘Best New Blog 2017’ category (yay) so I’m quite familiar with the HBC Community – and my god what a brilliant community it is. To be in the running is something that I cannot even begin to comprehend, especially as the competition is T O U G H.
BUT, WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BLOG AWARDS?
The HBC Awards are a collab between That Protein and the HBC Community, and it is a celebration of the ever-growing community of health, fitness and lifestyle bloggers alike all over. Last year there were 11 categories to enter in total, this year there are an astounding 13!!
I think that clearly shows how incredibly quick the wonderful world of blogging and health blogging in particular, is growing.
THE BATH BLOGGER.
My aim for my blog isn’t and wasn’t to be the industry expert, because I’m not. It is to talk about and openly share my thoughts, opinions and to discuss my passions, which just so happen to be health, fitness and our bodies.
I like to talk about fitness trends, workout ideas, recipes I’ve experimented with, places I’ve been and most importantly, how to find balance between life, fitness and food.
My content isn’t about getting super lean and you won’t find me talking about the perfect bikini body. It’s about self love, mindfulness and balance whilst making the most out of the things and activities I love to do. And yes, this does include doughnuts.
I don’t have all the answers, but if I can help just one person feel a little bit lighter or brighter, then I’ll have achieved more than I could have ever wished for.
Thank you SO much to all my incredible family, friends, followers and readers for the continual support. Without your backing, I wouldn’t have had the confidence to put myself forward. I owe it all to you!
